He was born in 1936 in the village of Novačka, Croatia.
Since he knew what was happening in Hlebine around Ivan Generalić, and knowing Ivan Večenaj from Gola, he started painting.
His first paintings showed primordial strength.
He approaches Radu with full intensity, pulling the brush carefully, gently and excitingly.
Later, he opted for two themes that he painted, and those were portraits of village servants and gypsies.

His paintings are mostly smaller, especially portraits.
He has exhibited in the country and abroad at solo and group exhibitions.
He died in 2014
