Ivana Strugarević

After graduating from the School of Design, Design School in Belgrade, Ivana Strugarević graduated in Scenography at the Faculty of Art and Design (FUD) also in Belgrade, in the class of scenographer Miljen Kreka Kljaković.
During college, she attended painting classes with professors Miloš Šobajić and Sava Peković.
At the Faculty of Art and Design in 2010, she was engaged in her home department, in the subjects Film, Theater and TV scenography.
So far, she has realized over 20 solo exhibitions, some of which were in the Progress Gallery in Knez Mihajlova in Belgrade, in the Museum of the City of Perast, the Serbian Cultural Center in Pula, in the Local Museum in Ruma, Apolloni’s Palace in Slovenia, then in the City Gallery of Kotor , to the City Municipality of Voždovac…
He is a participant in numerous painting convocations as well as various projects, such as the UNESCO project – Days of European Heritage, the Painting Colony organized by the History Museum of Serbia, the “Roman Cultural Summer” event, and the “Love and Fashion” event at Gallery 73.
Also, the Swiss gallery Fragileexpress included Ivana among the artists it represents, and several of her paintings are in their offer.
Prominent artists, art critics and art historians have written about the artist’s works, among them the academic sculptor Nikola Kolja Milunović, who opened Ivana’s solo exhibition of paintings in the Progress gallery in 2013 and on that occasion even compared some of her works to Edvard Munch.
She is the founder of the brand – SI UNIQUE SILK, a line of unique silk scarves, and the originality and authenticity of the product itself has been recognized by many companies, embassies, art festivals as well as numerous individuals.
Until now, the SI unique silk brand has cooperated with over 40 companies in the country and abroad.
