He was born in 1912 in Varaždinske Toplice, Croatia.
In his youth, he learned the craft of church painter, and even then he fell in love with paints and brushes.
He has lived in Zagreb since 1935.
Painting on canvas, mostly in oil.
He uses a special technique by applying countless circles on the canvas.
Landscape painting, mostly spring and autumn, but also paintings and portraits.
For Antun, his first solo exhibition at the Mona Lisa Gallery in Paris in 1971 was especially significant.
Anatol Zhakovski then called him “the most magical” Yugoslav naivete.
He died in 1985.
