He was a Serbian painter and professor at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Arts in Belgrade.
He studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Belgrade from 1969 to 1974 in the class of prof. Stojan Celić.
He obtained his master’s degree from the same professor in 1977, and in 1978 he was chosen as an assistant for the subjects of painting and drawing.
At that faculty, he passed all university degrees and became a full professor in 1995.
As a scholarship recipient of the British Council, he stayed in London from 1980 to 1981, where he completed post-master’s studies in painting and graphics at the St. Martin’s School of Art.
