Painting of Kosta Bradić – Freedom is an old painting of him, from 1975. This is a typical example of his painting, with people in the picture and this painting is from his early blue phase which is rare and much sought after by fans of his painting.

This painting was made using the oil on plywood technique. Dimensions are 44 x 55 cm (without frame) and 68 x 79 cm (with frame). The price of the painting by Kosta Bradić – Freedom is with a frame. Using the technique of oil on plywood, the painting by Kosta Bradić – Freedom takes us to a different world of painting. Kosta Bradić was born in Đevđelia in 1927. After the end of the war in 1945, the Bradić family moved to Banat, and he thought about leaving high school. He goes to Belgrade and enrolls in the School of Applied Arts at the time, where he begins to paint his first oil paintings in 1951. After finishing high school, he entered the Academy of Fine Arts in Belgrade and graduated in the class of prof. Nedeljko Gvozdenović in 1954, when he started exhibiting his works. He was a professor at the Academy for Church Painting and Conservation.

He was one of the 13 members of the “Medijala” society, founded in 1953. The members of the group were: Olja Ivanjicki, Miro Glavurtić, Vladimir Veličković, Kosta Bradić, Ljuba Popović, Dado Đurić, Milić od Mačva, Vladan Radovanović, Uroš Tošković, Milovan Vidak, Siniša Vuković and Svetozar Samurović.

He is the holder of the title “meritorious artist” and winner of several foreign awards. Of particular importance is the award he received from the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Alexey II. The prominent painter exhibited at numerous exhibitions here and abroad. In the gallery “Progres” in Belgrade, Bradić presented the cycle of paintings “Christmas Hymn” in 2003, with the blessing of His Holiness Serbian Patriarch Pavle.
He died on December 14, 2014 in Belgrade.
