After the end of the war in 1945, the Bradić family moved to Banat, and he thought about leaving high school. He goes to Belgrade and enrolls in the School of Applied Arts at the time, where he begins to paint his first oil paintings in 1951. After finishing high school, he entered the Academy of Fine Arts in Belgrade and graduated in the class of prof. Nedeljko Gvozdenović in 1954, when he started exhibiting his works. He was a professor at the Academy for Church Painting and Conservation.

He was one of the 13 members of the “Medijala” society, founded in 1953. The members of the group were: Olja Ivanjicki, Miro Glavurtić, Vladimir Veličković, Kosta Bradić, Ljuba Popović, Dado Đurić, Milić od Mačva, Vladan Radovanović, Uroš Tošković, Milovan Vidak, Siniša Vuković and Svetozar Samurović.

He is the holder of the title “meritorious artist” and winner of several foreign awards. Of particular importance is the award he received from the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Alexey II. The prominent painter exhibited at numerous exhibitions here and abroad. In the gallery “Progres” in Belgrade, Bradić presented the cycle of paintings “Christmas Hymn” in 2003, with the blessing of His Holiness Serbian Patriarch Pavle.
He died on December 14, 2014 in Belgrade.
