His parents brought him to Belgrade as a two-month-old baby.
He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in 1973 in the class of Professor Nedeljko Gvozdenović, and his postgraduate studies in 1975 in the class of Professor Radenko Mišović.
He has exhibited 63 times on his own and participated in a number of art events in the country and abroad.
He has won several awards, including the following: Painting Award at the Eighteenth October Salon in 1977 and the award at the Second Biennial of Yugoslav Fine Arts in New York in 1980, Golden Plaque for Painting, Politika’s Prize…
The contemporary domestic art scene would be much poorer without the contribution of this painter.
He has a rocker in his soul, has a band with which he plays exclusively the music of his youth and says “I paint during the day, I play at night”.
He has organized sixty solo exhibitions and participated in several art events
He has received numerous awards in the field of painting and drawing.
Among other things, he is the winner of the Painting Prize at the 18th October Salon in Belgrade (1977), the Golden Pallet Prize for painting (1985), the 20th Prize for Painting at the Ktobar Salon (1988), and the Politics Fund from the Vladislav Ribnikar Fund. for Fine Arts (1990).
He lives and works in Belgrade and in the village of Šumarak, Deliblato Sands.
