Mile Davidović

  • Mile Davidovic, was born on November 18th in the territory of former Yugoslavia in the vicinity of the village of Hlebina, world famous for the school of naive painting (Generalić, Lacković, Kovačić, Večenaj ...).
  • After the Podravska Slatina he lived in Mostar and Bijeljina (where he finished the foundation and secondary economics school) and in Belgrade he finished the Higher Economic School.
  • In his youth, he was engaged in sports, folklore and modern dance, and later he worked as a marketing director in Film News, a SOS television cameraman, a correspondent for Satelit TV from Athens, where he lived for six years.
  • He is the author of the first videotape for computers on the territory of the former Yugoslavia, as well as the book How to Go and Work Abroad.
  • He discovered his love of art while studying economics when he decided to start painting.
  • His paintings have been exhibited in around 400 solo and collective exhibitions in nearly 50 countries on all five continents and are found in many domestic and foreign galleries as well as private collections.
  • At international exhibitions of naive art, he received many awards and prizes.
  • He always gave his paintings and money for humanitarian purposes.
  • He is a member of the International Association of Naive Arts, based in Paris, and the President of the Association of Painter Naive.
  • In May 2011, she became a member of ULUPUDS and received the title of an independent artist as the first painter to whom she had succeeded.
